From Downtown Jena:
Take tram line numbers 1, 4, or 34 (click on numbers to bring up schedule) from the city center (Lobdergraben/Stadtzentrum) north towards Zwätzen. Get off at the An der Eule stop, the institute is across the street on the right.From Leipzig airport (LEJ):
BY TRAIN: Take the train from the Airport to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (Hbf) in the city and take the ICE (Inter City Express) to Jena Paradies. Take tram line numbers 1, 4, or 34 (click on numbers to bring up schedule) from the train station through the city center (Lobdergraben/Stadtzentrum) north towards Zwätzen. Get off at the An der Eule stop, the institute is across the street on the right.BY CAR: Take the Terminalring around until Flughafenallee/S8a. Take Flughafenallee/S8a about 2 km to the A14 towards Magdeburg/Halle. Take the A14 about 4 km to exit 20-Schkeuditzer Kreuz and get on the A9 headed towards München/Erfurt. Take the A9 for 70 km until exit 24-Hermsdorfer Kreuz towards Frankfurt a.M./Erfurt/Jena. Take the A4 for 17 km to exit 54-Jena-Lobeda and merge onto B88/Stadtrodaer Str. toward Naumburg. Follow the B88 11 km into Jena until Nollendorfer Strasse. Take a quick left on Nollendorfer and then an immediate right on Dornburger Strasse. Take Dornburger up the hill and down the other side, past the REWA 1.5 km to 159 Dornburger strasse, the large, 5-story grayish-white building on the left.
From Frankfurt Airport (FRA):
BY TRAIN: Take the ICE (Inter City Express) from the Frankfurt Airport to Weimar and then the RE or RB from Weimar to Jena West. Take the Bus, Line 15, from Westbahnhof to the Stadtzentrum. Take tram line numbers 1, 4, or 34 (click on numbers to bring up schedule) from the city center (Lobdergraben/Stadtzentrum) north towards Zwätzen. Get off at the An der Eule stop, the institute is across the street on the right.BY CAR: Follow the Abflugring out of the Airport. Take the B43 ramp to A3/Würzburg/A5/Kassel/Basel/Frankfurt. Take the exit onto A5 toward Hannover for 127 km. Continue onto A7 for 4.1 km. Take exit 86-Kirchheimer Dreieck to merge onto A4 toward Berlin/Dresden/Erfurt/Bad Hersfeld for 163 km to exit 54-Jena-Lobeda and merge onto B88/Stadtrodaer Str. toward Naumburg. Follow the B88 11 km into Jena until Nollendorfer Strasse. Take a quick left on Nollendorfer and then an immediate right on Dornburger Strasse.
