Our Facilities

Our Laboratories and Gear

In the geochemistry lab we have an anaerobic chamber for working with organisms under oxygen-free conditions.

The Microbiology Laboratory at the Institute of Ecology.

Located on the Second Floor of the Institute of Ecology at 159 Dornburger Straße in Jena, Germany our lab space conisists of a microbiology laboratory, sediment lab, chemistry lab, microscopy rooms, instrument rooms, offices, and various freezer and storage rooms. We are well equipped to perform both aerobic and anaerobic experiments under sterile and non-sterile conditions as well as cutting-edge molecular techniques and analyses.
